If you’re like me and absolutely love brunch food, then you’ve come to the right place! I’ve visited many different cafes over the past several years, and I am going to highlight all the best Main Line brunch locations for you. When it comes to fresh, healthy, house-made food, there’s no shortage of great places to try: From classy, quirky date spots to homey, bed-and-breakfast family spots, there’s something for everyone when it comes to having brunch on the Main Line!
If you like this article, you should definitely take a look at my post on the best coffee shops on the Main Line, too!
Malvern Buttery
Located on the main strip of Malvern, this picturesque cafe is perfect for your next brunch date. The Malvern Buttery is not your typical cafe experience. Upon arrival you pick your food from the buffet, then head over to the coffee bar to order your drink. No worries about paying until you leave. The cafe features a day-to-day menu of sandwiches, salads, soups, flatbread pizzas, pastries, and a toast bar. The food tastes as good as it looks, which made it quite a difficult task to choose what to eat! Not only were the food and drinks amazing, but the atmosphere was so peaceful and welcoming (and cute!) I will definitely be going back to this Main Line brunch spot soon.

BRYN and DANES
BRYN and DANES is a healthy fast food restaurant with several locations in southeastern PA. I decided to head over to the Malvern location, which is extremely clean inside, with a very trendy, calming atmosphere. They offer many healthy food options such as wraps, salads, bowls, quesadillas, smoothies, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and create your own options. Not only is the food delicious, but the service truly is very quick. In addition to dining in, there is also a drive-thru, for those who are looking for something easily accessible. And in case you need another reason to go, you should know that the owners make regular trips to bring their delicious food to hungry people in poor countries in Africa. Visit them in Malvern, or in Plymouth Meeting, Horsham, or Bryn Mawr.

Gryphon Cafe
With three locations in Wayne, West Chester, and Kensington, this quaint coffee shop has a unique atmosphere with great food. The Gryphon Cafe has a particularly large drink menu with options like coffee, seasonal drinks, tea, and more. Although the food menu is on the smaller side, all of it is delicious. The cafe offers an array of sandwiches, pastries, breakfast foods, salads, and soups. In addition to the wonderful food, they also have beautiful artwork on display. If you’re looking for a Main Line brunch experience like Starbucks, but a little more unique, you should definitely check this place out.

Our Deli
Our Deli is a hidden gem, located in the heart of Paoli. This restaurant has a huge, very well-priced menu full of delicious items. They have everything: all day breakfast, a deli counter, hot and cold menu items, and tons more. This place is everything you’d want to expect from a good deli, and in addition to the wonderful food, the service is excellent. All of the staff was so friendly, and the food comes out very fast. People don’t often think of a deli when considering where to go for brunch (especially brunch on the Main Line), but in this case, you absolutely should.

Nudy’s Cafe
Nudy’s Cafe is a cute restaurant that sort of feels like a cross between a cafe and a diner. They have several locations, in Wayne, Ardmore, Paoli, Pheonixville, Malvern, West Chester, Exton, and Chadds Ford. All of these locations are on the Main Line, but the one I decided to visit was the Paoli location. They offer charming outside seating tables on a patio with bright yellow umbrellas perfect for spring summer, or those nice, crisp, early fall days. With over 5 menu pages, Nudy’s has absolutely every food option you could think of when it comes to breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Not only is the food hearty and delicious, but the service is also quick!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe
Located in the Paoli shopping center, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is one of my go to places for a healthy drink and meal. It’s not technically a Main Line brunch-specific place, as it is a franchise with locations all over the country, but it’s a favorite of mine, so I simply had to include it. This cafe offers a bright colored, and fresh atmosphere. Their menu has a very extensive array of smoothie options, along with flatbreads, salads, sandwiches, wraps, bowls, and some breakfast options, too. The company offers an online order option through their website or app, so you can beat the line. This cafe is the perfect place to get a refreshing smoothie to go, or to sit and stay if you’re not in a hurry.

The Classic Diner
With two locations in Malvern and West Chester, the Classic Diner is a nice, quiet escape. The word classic definitely applies when describing this diner, from the fresh, white coffee mugs on the stainless steel tables, to the familiar diner fare on the menu. With unique modern decor, this diner has a very comfortable atmosphere, including the relaxing choice of music they play. Not only is the food delicious, but they also have a large variety of breakfast and lunch options. I definitely recommend you take a trip, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Christopher’s: A Neighborhood Place
Christopher’s has two locations: one in Wayne, and one in Malvern. This restaurant offers the feel of a family-friendly bar hangout, and it is the perfect place to grab something to eat with a group. They have a wide array of hearty, American tavern-style foods that are all delicious, and very well priced. The service is great, and they even offer outdoor seating with occasional live entertainment.

Elegance Cafe
Located in the Paoli Shopping Center, Elegance Cafe is a great spot for your next Main Line brunch (or lunch!) trip. This cafe has two locations, one in Paoli and one in Wayne. This restaurant has a very casual, comfortable feel inside. The cool thing about this place is that it’s never the same experience twice: they offer a different menu every day with sandwiches, salads, and assorted bakery items. They take pride in cooking each of their items in-house, from scratch, with love. They don’t cut corners, and it shows in every item on their menu.

Aneu
Located in both Paoli and Bryn Mawr, Aneu Kitchen + Juicery has a very rustic, classy atmosphere, with their unpolished wood tables, woven table runners, and fresh flower arrangements on every table. Their food is very healthy, especially their hand-pressed juice selection. They offer several different daily lunch specials, as well as breakfast options. I love their acai bowls: If you’ve never tried this trendy food item before, this is a great place to give it a shot. This quiet, comfortable setting is perfect for your next Main Line brunch date.

With menu options from delicious breakfast, to hearty lunches, everything is made in-house. This restaurant also has a range of specials that vary day-to-day.
