Recommended Shops on the Main Line

This summer, I spent some time traveling around the Main Line area, specifically the towns of Paoli, Wayne, and Malvern. After stopping at shops in each town, I compiled a list of places I recommend you visit!

Paoli

Paper Source

Located in the Paoli Shopping Center, Paper Source has all of your stationary needs. The carry everything from a huge selection of greeting cards, custom high quality wrapping paper, a paper bar for projects, and so many gift/crafting options. Whether you are working on a project or just need to buy a card or gift for a loved one, Paper Source is the place to go. The store is very well organized with lots of color coding to make your shopping experience the best it can be.

Trove General Store

Trove General Store is a unique little shop located in the Paoli Shopping Center. This store creates a very rustic, country atmosphere through its decorations, displays, and items for sale. Trove General Store sells both women’s and men’s clothing along with shoes, and other gift options.

Hardware Center

The Hardware Center is located in the Paoli Shopping Center. This store will help you meet all of your home-maintenance needs with its products including mailboxes, paint, kitchen supplies, and backyard furniture. A lesser-known piece of information is that there is a children’s toy store upstairs. Some of my favorite finds at The Hardware Center were the farm fresh produce out front along with beautiful flowers. I would definitely recommend that you go visit and see everything the store has to offer.

Vintage Home

Located on Route 30 across from the Paoli Shopping Center, Vintage Home is a great place to shop if you are looking to furnish and decorate your home interior. The style of the furniture and decor at Vintage Home is rustic but modern. I absolutely love their gorgeous displays and some of their smaller items which can easily enhance any room.

Plato’s Closet

Plato’s Closet, located in the Paoli Village Shopping Center, sells gently worn clothing. They offer a wide array of shoes, athletic clothing, dresses, shorts, jeans, tops, and more. They even arrange their clothing into different occasions to help you make the most of your shopping experience. In addition to selling clothes, they also buy your name brand clothes off of you for cash. In addition, they even offer an exchange program as well where the clothes you bring in will allow you to use that money towards the clothes you purchase.

Concord Pet

Concord Pet is located in the Paoli Village Shopping Center. This pet store has everything you need all in one location. From a huge aisle of color coded collars and leashes, to pet food, toys, and even pet rain coats. They have lots of great finds that you and your pet are going to love. King’s Haven

King’s Haven is an interior design shop located right in the heart of Paoli at the intersection of Route 30 and North Valley Rd. King’s Haven is a large store that sells a wide array of lighting, furniture, and decor. The customer service is excellent and they even have a design table where customers can sit down with designers to discuss home furnishings. They also sell a considerable amount of artwork and other wall decor. I definitely recommend you check it out!

Luxurious Nail Salon Located in Paoli, PA. They offer many services that are very well priced.

Wayne

Little House Shop

Little House Shop is located in the Eagle Village Shops in Wayne. This cute store sells a wide variety of items, ranging from gifts to clothes. They sell china and glassware, pillows and throws, and many decorations. Categorized sections for weddings and babies make the shop easy to navigate and helpful to find what you are looking for. Their website allows you to create gift registries. It is a great place to shop if you are looking to buy a thoughtful gift or add some character to your home.

Valley Forge Flowers

Valley Forge Flowers and The Barn at Valley Forge Flowers are located adjacent to each other in the Eagle Village Shops in Wayne. Valley Forge Flowers is much more than your stereotypical florist. It’s huge layout and in-house cafe allows for a lot of browsing and a great shopping experience. The Barn at Valley Forge Flowers is a beautiful building where you can purchase furniture and decor for any room in your home as well as your yard. The Barn offers in-store events such as cooking classes and can be used as an event venue. It is easy to spend a lot of time between the two stores looking at the wide assortment of exciting products. I definitely recommend you stop in for some fun shopping!

Interiors for the Home

Interiors for the Home is a interior design store located in the Eagle Village Shops. Though the shop itself is small, its offerings are large. They sell furniture, home accessories, artwork, custom window treatments, rugs, and lighting as well as provide interior design services to the greater Philadelphia area. I suggest you check out their website or stop in to see how they can assist you in meeting your interior designing goals.

Main Point Books

Main Point Books is located in central Wayne on N. Wayne Ave.

Out There Outfitters

Out There Outfitters is located on N. Wayne Ave. Offers many different products such as shoes, clothing, books, hiking gear and more. There merchandise is great for both yourself and gifts for friends/family.

Malvern

Up Home

Up Home is an interior furnishing store located on King Street. Their style is very French antique and you will love it. They have so many unique pieces in store.
